Gopalganj: Three people, including an ITI student, were killed and five others injured on Monday in a collision between an autorickshaw and a school bus on NH-28 in Bihar's Gopalganj district, a police officer said.
The mishap took place near Hansa village as a speeding school bus rammed into an autorickshaw carrying about dozen passengers, Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar said. An ITI student Deepak Kumar (18), Sanya Kumari (60) and Sonamati Devi (55) - all occupants of the autorickshaw - died on the spot, and five others, including three women and two children, were injured, he said. The injured were admitted to Sadar hospital, Kumar said. The bus driver fled from the spot with his vehicle, the SP said.
