Cairo: The police in the Egyptian resort city of Hurghada have arrested a woman on charges of polygamy, a media report said. The 25-year-old waitress was married to seven men, according to her latest husband.
She met all of them in a cafe where she was employed.
According to the police, she married her men six days after each marriage. After the weddings, she would reportedly lose interest in them and would begin a hunt for another husband.
Once she was remarried, she would take all her belongings to her new husband's home.
The woman claims all her husbands were happy with her, even if their family bliss lasted for a week, the Almasry Alyoum newspaper reported on Monday.
