Mumbai: That click of a button is all you need now to connect to your favourite stars. The web is calling and the Bollywood celebrities have started their very own official star sites.

"I have got an Internet site called www.johnabraham.com," says actor John Abraham.

Even Akshay Kumar has caught the craze. "I always wanted to create a website and now I’m going to change it and make it a very unique one," he says.

They aren't the only ones. Now you can get up close and personal to the stars on anilkapoor.net, shekharkapur.com, manojbajpai.net, and even udaychopra.com.

The sites not only offer biographies and wallpapers, some even have posts and blogs written by the stars themselves for their myriad fans.

Anil Kapoor gives first hand accounts of his life and Uday Chopra offers some candid videos. John of course goes on his site for different reasons.

"I go on anonymous and listen to the discussions people have about me. I take it very constructively. I am very much there, on the site for at least two hours everyday because on the net very honest opinions are passed. So when John is bad in a movie, they say 'John is bad in a movie'," he says.
