It's Munna vs India's first clone

New Delhi: The wait is finally over. After the huge success of Munnabhai MBBS, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani return with its sequel Lage Raho Munnabhai which releases on Friday.

Sanjay Dutt plays the lovable Mumbai goon Munnabhai and Ashad Warsi plays his comic sidekick Circuit.

In the course of the film, Munnabhai falls in love with a Radio Jockey, Jhanvi played by Vidya Balan. But problems seem to dog the bhai, and she seems to think he's a history professor.

In this laugh-riot Munnabhai also comes face to face with Mahatma Gandhi.

The film also starrs Boman Irani and Jimmy Shergil who had played important roles in the first chapter. Dia Mirza will be seen in a supporting role.

Jaane Hoga Kya is this week's second release. Directed by debutante director duo Glen Baretto and Ankush Mohla, Jaane Hoga Kya is a science fiction thriller which deals with human cloning, perhaps the first Bollywood flick to do so.

Aftab Shivdasani plays a scientist who succeeds in making a clone of himself, only the clone goes missing and wreaks havoc on the city.

The film also stars Bipasha Basu, Preeti Jhangiani, Rahul Dev, and Paresh Rawal.

The directors of the film claim that the climax of the film will shock the audience. But the bigger shock is perhaps the fact that it has been in the making for the last five years.
