New Delhi: Late Yash Chopra’s last directorial film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ hits the screens today. The Shah Rukh Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer is probably the most anticipated film of the year. With Yash Chopra’s untimely demise, the film has become all the more important for Chopra’s fans and friends.
Karan Johar, who is close to the Chopra family, recently attended the premiere of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ at the Yash Raj Films studio. After the grand premiere which was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, Karan Johar tweeted, “Adi Uday and the entire team of YRF created a kingdom of opulence at the studio. This was one unforgettable farewell of the legend. For the first time in years the industry was a fraternity again. One man, Yash Chopra brought everyone in one room with a feeling of love.”
Known as the ‘King of Romance, late director Yash Chopra gave Indian film industry some of its best romantic films. From ‘Kabhie Kabhie’ to ‘Veer-Zaara’, the late director painted the silver screen with hues of romance. His last directorial venture seems to have the same magic. “Jab Tak Hai Jaan, all about love and longing..it fills your heart!!!! And makes you fall in love with the movies. Jab Tak Hai Jaan is the return and the farewell of love on celluloid, because only one man had the right to project it right!!! We miss you,” added Johar.
It's not just filmmaker Karan Johar, who can't stop praising about 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. Even, actress Bipasha Basu couldn't stop herself from falling in love with late Yash Chopra's last directorial venture. Echoing Karan's sentiments, she tweeted, "Jab Tak Hai Jaan makes you want to find your soulmate your true love.Infuses romance into your life.A must see!Saluting the King of romance,Yash Chopra!"
Love has always been the high point of Yash Chopra's films and his last film doesn't disappoint fans. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh tweeted, "Jab Tak Hai Jaan!!! A film that makes u believe that love is unconditional and forever. Brilliant,incredible!!"
