Washington: Hollywood heavyweight Jack Nicholson manifested his support to Hillary Clinton’s US presidential campaign in a video clip he released on the internet this past weekend.
Nicholson took the help of American actor-director Rob Reiner to make the video titled Jack and Hill.
The duo edited scenes from Nicholson’s most famous movies — such as Batman, The Shining and A Few Good Men — for the purpose.
In one of the sequences, according to Contactmusic, The Shining character Jack Torrance says: "Things could be better, Lloyd. Things could be a whole lot better.”
Side-by-side the message "Clinton has a plan to deal with the nearly 47 million Americans without health care" flashes up on screen.
In another sequence, Nicholson’s character from A Few Good Men says: "There's nothing sexier than saluting a woman."
The clip appeared on file-sharing websites over the weekend.
Jack and Hill's spokesperson Yusuf K Robb has revealed that the video clip was made without Clinton's approval.
"They (Nicholson and Reiner) decided to do this as something on their own to assist her campaign," Robb said.
