Los Angeles: With toxicology tests still being conducted, Michael Jackson's death certificate uses the word 'Deferred' to describe the cause of his death.
A copy of the document which was made public on Tuesday does not give a reason for the sudden demise of the 'King Of Pop', reported People magazine.
The official death certificate was issued the same day as his private funeral and public memorial.
The singer had died on June 25, after a suspected cardiac arrest and a police investigation is underway to probe the role of prescription drugs in the death.
The certificate also says that Forest Lawn has "temporary disposition" of the singer's body and the final resting place for the King of Pop remains unknown.
His sister LaToya Jackson provided the information on the death certificate, which lists his occupation as "musician" and type of business as "entertainment."
