Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued summons to Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah in connection with the Jagan Mohan Reddy disproportionate assets case.
He was the irrigation minister in late YSR Reddy's regime and is one of the six ministers who was issued notices by the Supreme Court earlier this year.
He has been asked to appear before the CBI on June 7. This comes 10 days after the arrest of cabinet minister M Venkataramana, who was the excise minister in the YSR government.
Lakshmaiah will be the fourth minister to be questioned in the case.
