Jagjit Singh in critical condition at Lilavati

Mumbai: Eminent Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh was on Friday afternoon admitted in the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai.

According to reports, the singer was rushed to the hospital after he suffered a brain haemorrhage.

Doctors attending to him had on Friday said that the singer was in a critical condition.

Hospital sources said that a life-saving operation was performed on Singh.

Singh was supposed to perform at a concert along with renowned Pakistani Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali in Mumbai on Friday evening.
