New Delhi: The Rajasthan Police say alleged SIMI leader Shahbaz Hussain - who was arrested on Monday - sent the terror email just before the Jaipur blasts.
Police offiicals in Jaipur told CNN-IBN that Shahbaz sent the email from a cyber cafe in Shahibabad in Uttar Pradesh. They made the disclosure after an identification parade.
Sahabaz was arrested by the Rajasthan Police last month from Lucknow. The Lucknow CJM court has given Rajasthan Police a 48-hour transit remand for Shahbaz.
Police believe he is the regional head of SIMI and he masterminded the Jaipur blasts which killed 60 people. They also say he was involved in the recent Ahmedabad blasts.
The police have also made six more arrests from various parts of the state under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and any possible links of these people's to the Jaipur blast are being probed.
Eight serial blasts rocked the city of Jaipur at 1935 hrs IST on May 13, killing 60 people and injuring 150 others.
