Jaipur: Ten college students were arrested Saturday, hours after they allegedly tried to molest a US visitor in this tourist city of Rajasthan, the police said.
The 10 accused, who live in a boys hostel here, stopped the victim when she was riding on a motorcycle with her friend Friday night near Adarsh Nagar area, Asha Ram Chaudhary, circle officer, told IANS.
They tried to molest her, but a passerby who was driving a car stopped and rescued the couple, the police officer said.
The victim later informed the police.
The accused were detained in the morning and presented in a city court with molestation charges. The court sent them to judicial custody.
