Jalandhar: A school bus had a head-on collision with a truck early on Monday morning, following which casualties were reported. Reports said at least 11 children were dead in the accident.
Reports also said that the driver of the school bus also died after the accident. At least 13 others have been reportedly injured in the accident and were taken to the Jalandhar Civil Hospital.
There were at least 35 children in the bus who were on their way to their school. The police are trying to ascertain the cause of the head-on collision.
An FIR has been registered against the truck driver. More details of the accident are awaited.
