Akshay performs stunts on 'CID' without the use of cables

Trust Akshay Kumar to live up to his action hero image when promoting his film. While shooting as the guest star for a detective series, the actor discarded the use of cables and decided to do his stuntbaazi on his own. With only his gut instinct to rely on, the daredevil Kumar jumped from the roof of one moving elevator to another, while everyone who had gathered, watched him, with bated breath, in action.

Directors and his assistants normally have to be up and about on the sets, while the actors take refuge in their make up vans. The filmmaker initially hesitated but soon succumbed to the feeling of being pampered by Nana’s magic hands.

Geeta Basra helps her friends to quit smoking

Geeta Basra is a self-proclaimed fitness junkie. The actress is known to live a healthy life style and has gone one step forward and is urging her friends to follow suit. Geeta is now helping her friends to kick the death stick and has even bought e-cigarettes for them from the UK. Looks like Bollywood has taken a leaf from Hollywood as Geeta and earlier Sonam Kapoor are promoting e-cigarettes.
