Jawan shoots colleague dead by mistake

Itanagar: A jawan of the 4th India Reserve Battalion (IRBn) died on the spot when his friend fired at him mistaking him as a bear when they went for hunting at Seijosa in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh, the police said on Saturday.

The incident occurred last night when five persons including two IRBn jawans had gone to the area on a hunting trip with private weapons. The jawan was arrested, police said.
