Mumbai: Seven people died and three others were injured in a road mishap near Panvel in Navi Mumbai. The accident occurred when a jeep overturned near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
Meanwhile, in another incident in Mumbai, one person died and 13 were injured in the early hours of Monday after a fire broke out in the Mankhurd area. The fire started after an explosion in a gas tanker.
Five fire engines were rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. The injured have been admitted to Shatabdi Hospital in Govandi. Seven of the injured are reportedly critical.
