New Delhi: India's Jeev Milkha Singh played some sensational golf to finish the first day of the US Masters at Augusta, tied fourth on level par.

Justin Rose carded a superb three-under 69 to claim a share of the first-round lead along with Brett Wetterich.

World number one Tiger Woods failed to impress with two bad drives at the last two holes.

His bogey-bogey finish left him on one over par, four off the lead. He is tied fifth along with Luke Donald.
