Mumbai: It was not one of the usual flights, as for many, it meant a distant dream becoming a reality.

Organising an airplane ride for a 100 underprivileged and mentally-challenged children has become an annual exercise for Jet Airways.

One of the children aboard the flight of fantasy was Badal. For the 4-year-old orphan, it was the first airplane ride of his life.

Keeping the kids company were the Lage Raho Munnabhai stars - Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan.

"The children had all watched Munnabhai. They asked me to say my lines from the movie as well. I'm really happy I came here today," says Balan.

It was a short flight - only half an hour - and with Circuit for company, time simply flew.

"It's impossible for these kids to fly. So, it's a great experience for them, like it was for me the first time I flew," says Warsi.

"It felt good to fly up there," says Adesh. As for Badal, it'll probably be ages before he gets on a plane again, but this experience is sure to remain with him forever.
