Reuters

Mumbai: Carrier Jet Airways on Wednesday said it has raised the fuel surcharge on tickets by Rs 400 across all domestic sectors effective June 17.

The move comes a day after state-run oil firms raised jet fuel prices by over 12 per cent from June 16, according to the website of Indian Oil Corporation, the country's biggest refiner.

The increase "will be applicable on all flights of Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect and JetLite," Jet Airways said in a statement.

At 11:18 am, shares of Jet Airways were up 3.2 per cent at Rs 270.65 in the Mumbai market.
