Mumbai: While dancer-turned-actress Isha Sharvani has been dancing her way to the top slot on a TV dance reality show week after week, her fellow contestants feel that the competition is too much one-sided.
Especially since Isha is a professional dancer and a teacher, while the others are simply amateurs. The general feeling is that Isha is way too good to make it a fair contest. While some of the contestants admit to us that the issue bothers them, they however say that all is not lost. In fact, they are practising their moves with renewed enthusiasm.
While acknowledging that her background in dance is an advantage to Isha, anchor and cricket presenter Shibani Dandekar says, "We have to look past the fact that Isha is the best. We just need to improve ourselves." In fact, even the other contestants Gurmeet Chaudhary, Giaa Manek and Ravi Kishan say they are trying their best to not get affected by Isha’s victory over them in every episode.

Bollywood actress Isha Sharvani scored a perfect 30 this week again. She got a standing ovation for her spooky performance.

In episode 9 and 10 of celebrity dance reality show 'Jhalak Dijhhla Jaa', the contestants were asked to present different Bollywood genres through their performances. Isha and her choreographer chose horror.

Judge Remo D'Souza said that Isha and Salman's performance was of international level. Many people say that its unfair to have a trained dancer on the show.

After giving an emotional performance last week, Shibani Dadekar returned with an item number.

Shibani Dandekar performed on Shilpa Shetty's popular number 'Ayee hu UP, Bihar lootne'.

Shibani earned loads of compliments for her performance, but failed to get full marks.

TV actor Gurmeet Chaudhary and his choreographer Shampa presented a robotic dance this time.

Once again, Gurmeet got full marks from the judges. Do you think he could have been a better 'G.One'?

TV actress Jayati Bhatia failed miserably at Tap dance this week.

Jayati would have scored a little better if her performance wasn't lined up just after Isha Sharvani.

The judges have asked Jayati to perform wearing high heels next week. Let's see how she scores...

Darsheel Safary and his partner tried to recreate the 'Pehla Nasha' magic on the dance floor this time.

Dressed in a chic school uniform, both of them looked amazing together.

Going by the improvement in Darsheel's performance every week, his dream of getting full marks may come true soon.

Sushil Kumar has finally started dancing. Jhalak's 'Antarmukhi' was seen in a Tapori avatar this time.

Sushil Kumar will have to work hard on his dancing skills if he wishes to stay longer on the show.

It seems, everyone is already tired of Pratyusha Banerjee's excuses. Known as TV's Anandi, Pratyusha again gave a below average performance.

If her peformance didn't improve, Pratyusha may soon be out of the show.

Bad luck Deepak, despite coming up with best of the concepts, he is not able to score well.

TV actress Giaa Manek got her first ten from Madhuri Dixit this time.

Giaa and Nishant's performance was really funny. They completely lived upto the theme of their performance.

Do you think Giaa Manek has the potential of making it to the top three?

Bharti Singh broke down on stage after her performance. Judge Remo D'Souza trying to console her.

Savio and Bharti Singh tried to show the plight of street children through their performance.

Almost everyone on the sets of 'Jhalak' was in tears after Bharti's performance.

Ravi Kishan turned out to be one of the lowest scorers this week.

Concept and expression were perfect in his performance, but he was asked to work hard on his dancing skills.

Ravi Kishan shakes a leg with anchor Ragini during the show.

Judge Remo D'Souza also performed during the 9th episode of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5'.

Isha Sharvani
Recently, when Gurmeet received a low mark, a few of his fans protested. Some even objected to the alleged special treatment being meted out to Isha. The channel had however denied the allegations.
Stand-up comedian Bharti Singh, "Yes, sometimes we feel that she is the star of the show, but if she has a 60 per cent chance of winning the show, we too have at least a 40 per cent chance. The rest all are non-dancers but I may be capable of doing some moves that she may not know, and vice versa."
