Jhansi: Even as the Cabinet approves stricter laws to check attacks on women, a shocking incident occurred in Jhansi where a policeman is seen pulling off the dupatta of two minor girls who were detained on charges of theft, on camera.
The police officer also invited the local media to the station and paraded the girls before the cameras.
Furthermore, the two girls were made to spend the night at the Kotwali police station instead of being sent to a women's police station.
