Jharkhand: Man buried alive for practising witchcraft

Latehar: A man was beaten up by some people and buried alive at Aradhih village in Latehar district for allegedly practising witchcraft, police said on Sunday.

The police on Sunday exhumed the body of Mangar Bhuyan and sent it for postmortem after his family members lodged an FIR.

The FIR alleged that the five persons yesterday dragged out Mangar from his house and severely thrashed him. Later, took him to a place, dug a grave and buried him.
