Click to play videoRanchi: RJD MLA Sanjay Yadav has been arrested for slapping and punching a district official Godda, Jharkhand.
The incident occurred on Thursday when Yadav and Deputy Commissioner for Development Dilip Kumar Jha came face to face at a meeting. There was already a lot of bad blood between the two men as Jha had indicted the MLA in a report on a Solar Lighting Purchase scam.
They have now lodged FIRs against each other. The MLA has been booked for attempt to murder and Jha for using unparliamentary language.
Last year, Congress MLA Yogendra Sao was jailed for manhandling a block officer in Hazaribaug.
