New Delhi: Jiah Khan and Deepika Padukone - one who recently made her Bollywood debut and the other who is soon going to make it. One starred opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd and the other will face Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om.
Both of them were in the Capital to promote an accessory brand, but more than the bags, it was the monkey that comes with the bag that got them excited.
Said Jiah Khan, "I think monkeys are mischievous and so I think I fit right in here."
Added Deepika Padukone, "My connection is also the monkey connection. I have heard that every bag and every monkey has a name. So, am sure there is a Deepika monkey somewhere."
Jiah's debut film Nishabd could not do much at the box office, but one thing that didn't go unnoticed were her legs, to which she said, "I wonder whether that is a good thing or a bad thing."
After seeing her in the hot pants in the flick, one wonders whether she has changed her dressing style now.
"I've covered up my legs now," pat comes the actress' reply.
So will Bollywood director Ram Gopal Verma, who has a history of detaching himself from his proteges, repeat her again?
"Ram Gopal Verma is completely harassed by me. I don't think he is going to work with me again. At least for a year now," said Jiah.
Well, all the audiences can do now is wait and watch.
