'Jihadi CDs found at Ahmed brothers' home'

CNN-IBN

Bangalore/ New Delhi: The Bangalore Police have seized CD with jihadi content from the house of Sabeel Ahmed and Kafeel Ahmed, brothers who are under arrest in UK in connection with the bomb attack on Glasgow international airport on June 30.

Sources tell CNN-IBN police are searching for associates of the brothers in Bangalore. Kafeel, an aeronautical engineer, allegedly drove the flaming Jeep Cherokee into a terminal at the airport. He is now being treated in a hospital in Scotland for severe burns.

Sabeel, a doctor and Kafeel’s younger brother, is being held in Liverpool where he worked in a hospital. The brothers’ cousin, Mohammed Haneef, is under detention in Australia till Monday.

The Bangalore police have seized a computer from the Banashankari home of the brothers and is trying to “put the pieces together”, PTI quoted a senior police official as saying.

Bilal Abdullah, a 27-year-old doctor born in Britain and raised in Iraq, is only suspect till now who has been charged before a court with conspiracy to bomb a busy marked in London and the Glasgow airport.

British prosecutors suspect Abdullah and Kafeel carried out attempted bombings in London on June 29 before they returned to Scotland—where Abdullah worked at a Glasgow-area hospital—and attacked the airport the next day.
