Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in Puducherry will release on June 1 the result of the entrance exam held at the all India level for selection of students to first MBBS course during 2012-2013 academic year in the institute.
Seventy five per cent of the 40,000 candidates who had applied for the entrance test in various parts of the country simultaneously appeared for the test on May 27.
The institute has 145 seats in the first MBBS course and evaluation of answer sheets was now in progress, JIPMER sources said.
