Mumbai: Actress-turned-director Pooja Bhatt hopes 'Jism 2' would be lucky for her the way 'Arth' was for her father Mahesh Bhatt.
"I think and hope that 'Jism 2' will be my 'Arth'. It is a coincidence that I am at the same stage like my father. Even he had four films like 'Naya Daur', 'Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain' and others before 'Arth' but none of them did well," Pooja told reporters here last night, at the promotional event of 'Jism 2'.
Pooja made her directorial debut in 2004 with John Abraham and Udita Goswami starrer 'Paap', after which she directed 'Holiday', 'Dhokha' and 'Kajraa Re', all bombing at the box office.

Adult entertainer Sunny Leone makes her Bollywood debut with director Pooja Bhatt's erotic thriller 'Jism 2'.

Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh and Sunny Leone play the lead roles in the film.

'Jism 2' has been given an 'A' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Pooja Bhatt is happy that the cuts were only made upon her discretion.

"'A' certificate received for 'Jism 2'. August 3 here we come! India just got itself an erotic thriller that truly reflects the times," tweeted Pooja.

Pooja Bhatt claims that 'Jism 2' is least affected by the cuts.

'Jism 2' is a sequel to 2003 film 'Jism'. While the original was quite bold in its own way with Bipasha Basu in the lead, the forthcoming movie will see Sunny Leone as the leading lady.

As Pooja Bhatt claims, The 'Jism' series can be called the most erotic Bollywood films made so far.

'Jism 2' promises to be a steamier affair, and an adult certification might be befitting for it.

Pooja says 'Jism 2' doesn't target only multiplex audiences, adding she does not make 'elite films'.

She says, "I am catering the man on the streets and women who understand 'the erotica'. It is an erotic sensual thriller."

The makers never asked for a 'U/A' certificate, they just didn't want any unnecessary cuts that can ruin the plot.

This may affect the box office collection of the film, but director Pooja Bhatt is not really worried about it.

During an interview lately she said, " 'Jism 2' is an adult film for adult sensibilities. The adult audience is a sizeable number and it is big enough for my film."

Unlike most of the Bollywood films being made these days, Pooja Bhatt intentionally didn't use any cuss word in the script of 'Jism 2'.

The trick worked for the film as the censor board didn't tamper with even one dialogue in the film.

A few songs and a dialogue promo of 'Jism 2 is already out and the response is pretty good.

Bollywood films are slowly getting bolder with every passing year. However, 'Jism 2' is said to beat all bold films made so far.

Arunoday Singh plays a cop in the film. He hires a porn star, played by Sunny Leone to trap an assassin, played by Randeep Hooda.

As reported, Sunny Leone worked hard on her Hindi for the film. Let's see how she scores as a Bollywood actress.

'Jism 2' is all set to hit the screens on August 3, 2012.

"I think somewhere what is special about 'Arth' is that finally the lady makes a choice of not to be with the husband and not be with the lover. In 'Jism 2', Izna (Sunny Leone) is a porn star and by the end she makes a choice that redeems her character. So we are talking about choices and that is the similarity between the two movies," she said.
This time the 40-year-old director is hopeful that 'Jism 2' will do well, thanks to the trailers and music. "I think I am at a stage where as a director I have
got nothing to lose as I have had four flops behind me. I have a brand 'Jism' about which there is excitement and interest among the public. The film is looking good, music is liked by all," Pooja said.
The Bhatt camp has offered Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone her first break in Bollywood with erotic thriller 'Jism 2'.
