Jammu: Firing has resumed in yet another ceasefire violation at the RS Pura sector in Jammu district. One personnel was killed on Thursday night in the cross-fire, which went on for about two hours.
"Pak Rangers heavily fired on Indian post of Abdullian in R S Pura sub-sector of Jammu district" in the ninth ceasefire in 12 days, a senior BSF Officer told PTI.
They first opened heavy weaponry firing and this was followed by small arms fire from 19:40 hours on the forward posts and it was continuing when the reports last came from the area, he said.
This is the third ceasefire violation at the International Border in past two days. There have also been five such violations on the LoC in the last 15 days.
