Srinagar: The crisis in Jammu and Kashmir cricket has taken a turn for the worse with players from the Kashmir region refusing to represent the state team.

The players from the Kashmir region had walked out from the last match alleging bias against the region in favour of players from Jammu.

The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association has been in talks with the disgruntled players since but those talks have now broken down. So a team made up of players only from the Jammu region will now travel to Guwahati to take on Assam in their next Ranji Trophy match.
