Srinagar: In a major embarrassment for the Jammu and Kashmir government, a top National Conference aide Altaf Wani was allegedly caught in a compromising position with a woman on a houseboat.
Altaf Wani, a former member of the Legislative Council, fled from the spot when the police tried to take him into custody.
Following the incident, the police registered criminal charges against Wani for indulging in obscene act at a public place.
