J&K tense as curfew imposed after man's death in alleged CRPF firing

Srinagar: A bandh call has been called in Srinagar on Thursday after a protestor was allegedly killed in CRPF firing. A curfew was imposed after locals also attacked Indian soldiers with stones on Wednesday. One person was allegedly killed in the stone pelting.

Meanwhile, Pakistani terrorist outfit Hizbul Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for a suicide attack at the CRPF camp in Belima on Wednesday. The terrorists came dressed as cricketers with their rifles hidden in their kits. Two terrorists are believed to be absconding.

The Valley had been tense since the execution of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru and there have been demands for the return of Afzal's body to the family.
