New Delhi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has decided to vote for the Government in the crucial floor test in exchange for some very lucrative returns.

While JMM chief Shibu Soren has reportedly been offered a berth in the Cabinet – the portfolio of Coal Minister, sources say – his son has been offered the Deputy CM-ship of Jharkhand.

One of his MPs has also been offered a Minister of State post but the Soren has refused to divulge the details.

“All the five MPs of the party will vote in favour of the UPA Government during the trust vote," Soren told

reporters after a meeting with UPA Chairperson and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.

Though the JMM is officially a UPA coalition partner, Soren was in touch with the opposition BJP as well, through the week.

He was reportedly weighing a choice between the Chief Ministership of Jharkhand, that the BJP promised, and the portfolio of Coal Minister, that the UPA offered.
