Sanjay Leela Bhansali seems to be going through a really bad patch after the debacle of Saawariya. The other day, Bhansali's favourite man Salman Khan refused to act in his ambitious project Heera Mandi.
In fact, it all started with Hurman Baweja - who practically has no hits to his credit - backing out of his project Chenab Gandhi. Reportedly his dates clashed with Ashutosh Gowarikar's What's Your Rashee.
Hurman was then replaced by John in the film and Bhansali was all set to begin shooting from April 2009. John, as Juicy Mausi had last heard, did have dates available for Bhansali's upcoming Chenab Gandhi before the release of Dostana. Post release fervor and action however, has left John with too much on his plate!
According to the grapevine, John is so tied up with David Dhawan's Hook Ya Crook and Abbas Tyrewala's 1-800-Love, that he has practically no time nor interest for Bhansali's next.
The filmmaker seemingly ran out of choices and has decided to stall the shooting of Chenab Ghandhi until December. As for the progress on the Heera Mandi front, well, Juicy Mausi will find out soon.
