Mumbai: The arc lights have shifted to Kuala Lumpur as Bollywood stars started pouring in the Malaysian city—the venue for Provogue Global Indian Film Awards.

CNN-IBN correspondent Paras Tomar caught up with a dazzling John Abraham to share his excitement for the big festival.

Paras Tomar:Your latest film Baabul premiered at the Kuala Lumpur Global Indian Film Awards. Does it feel any different seeing your own film premier in a foreign country than what you see in Mumbai amid your ardent Bollywood fans?

John Abraham:Its no big difference at all. It’s the same audience everywhere very honestly. As much as we want to believe that it’s a different audience out there, the more people prove us wrong.

Paras Tomar:Baabul is going to be a very different movie for you. You have this cool biker dude image while here you are playing this nice-boy-next-door that one could take home to mama.

John Abraham: I guess so. It’s the first time I’m playing someone who is probably very nice. But I still miss the biker image really. But I’m sure the film will get me noticed as a nice boy too.

Paras Tomar:What have you been doing in Kuala Lumpur when you are not attending premiers and functions?

John Abraham: Well, I plan to play some soccer tomorrow that’s the only saving grace. I’m not much of a shopper so I haven’t really bought anything for me. But I look forward to taking a chilled break in Kuala Lumpur. It’s a beautiful city really.
