Mumbai: Friday morning was definitely a happening one for actor John Abraham. The exhibition of John’s calendar pictures shot by Subi Samuel was up in a multiplex in Mumbai on the same day as the release of his film Kabul Express. Now, was that a mere coincidence?

"It was a mere coincidence that release of Baabul happened on December 8, then the Calender launch on December 12. Then this exhibition and Kabul Express was released on the same day. Plus I have my brand launch on December 18. Oh, man!” exclaimed John.

The calendar has a topless John for each month of the year - standing in the sun, rolling in the sand and hanging upside down, doesn't sound easy now, does it?

“There is a rock climbing shot in there. I had my legs cut in that and it took two hours to get to the rock. But we got the shot,” said the actor.

So this month it's been John, John and more John, right from his films Baabul and Kabul Express to the calendar. It's probably time to take it easy now?

“I'll keep myself low for six months post January 24 after the the launch of Salaam-e-Ishq,” he said. Well, after all that workload, it’s a break is well deserved.
