CNN-IBN correspondent Varsha Pillai caught up with the actor at the launch of Zee Music’s John Abraham Unplugged calendar where his bare-bodied poses captured by lens man Subi Samuel were up on the hall-of-fame.
Varsha Pillai: The John Abraham calendar is going to be a complete eye candy for women, isn’t it?
John Abraham: It depends on how women find this calendar. I just hope that they enjoy me visually and look at the dates too. It will be very interesting.
Varsha Pillai: With lots of sex appeal, sun and sand in Goa—was it fun shooting for the calendar?
John Abraham: Subi and I share a great equation. If you see most of my shots, I it wont look like I’ve taken barely 5-7 minutes to get into the pose. Subi captured about 48-50 shots and got the best ones for this calendar. In fact we had shot in just two days about 100 odd shots.
Varsha Pillai: You have your own fashion line coming up and then the strings of releases in 2007. Isn’t there going to be an overdose of John Abraham?
John Abraham: It wasn’t planned to have so much of John Abraham at the same time. But I think December has been one such month where too many things happening at the same time. December 17 is going to be my birthday. So this has been like a lucky month for me.
Varsha Pillai: We wish you a very happy birthday in advance. We wish you all the best for the New Year.
John Abraham: Thank you. That was extremely sweet.
