New Delhi: Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie, has adopted her fourth child, a three-year old boy from Vietnam.
The proud mother had filed papers to adopt a three-year old boy from the Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh city and apart from a few procedural hurdles, Vietnamese officials approved the request.
Jolie and her son, Maddox, arrived at the orphanage on Thursday in the morning to pick up three-year old Pax Thein and left within 20 minutes.
Vietnamese adoption officials confirmed that Jolie had officially taken possession of the child and if all went according to plan she would be taking the child home, this weekend.
Jolie has adopted the child as a single parent because Vietnamese laws don't permit unmarried couples to adopt children.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have already adopted two children from Cambodia and Ethiopia and have one biological daughter who was delivered in Namibia.
