Vienna: Juan Martin del Potro reached his fourth final of the season by defeating Gilles Muller of Luxembourg 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5) at the Erste Bank Open on Saturday.
A runner-up last year, the top-seeded Argentine will play either second-seeded Janko Tipsarevic or Grega Zemlja of Slovenia in Sunday's final.
The match consisted mainly of short rallies featured no breaks of serve. Del Potro converted his fourth match point with his 17th ace, while Zemlja had 16 aces.
Del Potro is playing is first tournament since returning from a wrist injury that sidelined him for more than a month.
