Mumbai: The rainy season is here to stay and actress Juhi Chawla has the right solution for an otherwise dull rainy day — curl up with a steaming cup of tea and a new flavour of Kurkure munchies.

"It has got a little masala and a little nimbu (lemon). Basically, a chatpatta fun kind of taste," Juhi said.

And directing an equally zingy Juhi on the sets is Parineeta director Pradeep Sarkar.

Juhi’s effervescence seems to have rubbed off on Sarkar as well. "The role is of a bubbly person, a modern housewife. Juhi's sense of timing and humour is fantastic. She is absolutely apt for Kurkure," Sarkar said.

But it's not all fun and games on Sarkar’s sets who is lovingly called Dada. He is keenly involved in every small detail of the shoot, which keeps everyone on the set on their toes.

Sarkar said that the juggling act between films and ad campaigns is his own choice. "I've decided to do both things to keep my sword sharp," he quipped.

"I would be afraid to do a Kurkure ad with anybody but Dada. He is just so good," Juhi said.

So, while Juhi may be planning a music album soon, the love for laughs is what is keeping this original bubbly close to the small screen.
