Junior Bar Association president shot dead, lawyers vandalise hospital

The president of Junior Bar Association was on Thursday shot dead by unidentified persons in Pratapgarh district, following which lawyers vandalised the district hospital and collectorate office, police in Kota on Thursday.

Raj Dutt Mishra (52) riding a motorcycle with one U D Pandey was shot dead by some motorcycle-borne persons when he was on his way to the collectorate office on Thursday morning, they said.

Agitated over the incident, lawyers vandalised the district hospital, where Mishra was rushed after the incident, and premises of the collectorate office. They also blocked road, they said. Pandey has been detained for questioning, they said.
