Mumbai: Social activist and filmmaker Ashok Pandit along with singing dynamo Kailash Kher showed up for the Annual Art Festival at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai to lend their voice for a good cause.
And for the children there, painting comes as a ray of hope. Affected by cancer, they play with colours at the annual art festival at Mumbai's Tata memorial hospital.
“The kids are lovely, they sang with me for some time. They were truly inspiring, said Kailash Kher.
"The impression created about cancer brings about low confidence in these kids which has to be rebuilt, and they have told that its not incurable and that's why Dr Rakesh and we are here,” said Ashok Pandit.
For the children there, the song session turned out to be as colourful as the paintings.
“It was good that all the kids were playing. Nobody was worried and everyone was enjoying themselves,” said cancer patient Aniruddh.
It’s a song of hope that will undoubtedly give strength and courage to these young brave hearts.
