New Delhi: Singer Kailash Kher, who performed for the first time in Pakistan alongwith his band Kailasa two days ago, says he received much love from the audience and people there. His concert at Lahore was cancelled as the organisers did not have all the permits in place, but the singer and his band performed to an enthusiastic audience in Karachi on Saturday.
"We were received with love and affection wherever we went. Even the security arrangements were good. We couldn't perform at Lahore due to permit issues, but our Karachi concert was very successful. The crowd was very enthusiastic," Kaliash told PTI.
The singer, whose Sufi tracks are as popular as his Bollywood numbers, performed his hits like 'Teri Deewani', 'Jogi De Naal', 'Saiyaan' and 'Bum Lahiri'.

The singer and his band crossed the Wagah Border through the new Integrated Security Post (ICP) to reach Pakistan.
"There's a song Jogan Chhalke where we invited girls to the stage, and they had no reservations in joining us," he said.
There was a slight hitch at the Karachi concert where police found some people selling concert tickets in black.
"That led to a bit of chaos but the police handled it and the concert went smooth," he said.
Kailash added that he found fans everywhere, right from the hotel staff to policemen. "The way people showed their love, I was feeling like Shah Rukh Khan! Indian artistes are very popular there."
The singer and his band crossed the Wagah Border through the new Integrated Security Post (ICP) to reach Pakistan. "We were the first to enter into Pakistan through the post after its inauguration. It was a nostalgic experience crossing the border," Kailash said.
"The entire visit to Pakistan was a pleasant experience and would surely like to go back again," he added.
