One of the successful films of first half of 2012 is 'Govindayanamaha'. The debut of Pawan Wadeyar completed 100 days at Sapna theatre on Friday.
In the 100 days many controversies surrounded this 'Govindayanamaha' but success only comes in the forefront. Komal Kumar has progressed as distributor of his film in place of his remuneration. He gained a bumper crop. Pawan Wadeyar a software guy to cinema found success in his first film but he did not got a single 'Pai' as remuneration, producer KA Suresh found a bumper collection from 'Govindayanamaha' but invited trouble for his image. Firstly he fought with Komal Kumar, secondly he faced complaint at KFCC on financial deal related to the film and thirdly signing agreement to telecast the film, producer Suresh was again in controversy.
The presence of Komal Kumar, Pyaare Ge Agbuttaithe....song hitting on top of all the film songs, three heroines glamour, Pawan Wadeyar dialogue and screenplay counted for the success is the belief.
Govindayanamaha is running to 32 shows a day in eight theatres even after 100 days. It is all set to release for 18 theatres in the coming week shows the growth of this film in the box office.
The overall collection for roughly Rs.2 crores cinema is Rs.8 crores in the last 100 days of 'Govindayanamaha'.
