When a proved director takes up a film, the expectations are high. After failure of 'Nooru Janmaku' Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar is on low key. He has not been able to come up from failure in the contents of 'Breaking News'. The selection of subject and its treatment is once again put this ace director to difficult spot. The new thought of what is 'Breaking News' the director fails to arrive at. He moves around the same existing theory in the television channels and thus it does not make anything inspiring or director addresses any fresh and relevant points.
What is already seen and heard does not make 'Breaking News'. The creativity of director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar is totally missing and for the heck of making a film he gobbles the time.

How Arjun in Krish get up and Shraddha in an undisclosed house of a friend of Arjun spend time, the love affair all forms uninteresting points on silver screen.
Ajay Rao does not have the required fierceness. He doles out an unhappy mood and the mercury level of a television journalist is missing in him. Radhika Pandit is the main attraction of this film. She has given a very good performance and also looks very pretty.
For other artists like Ananthnag Nag, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila etc it is not something special at all. There is some laxity in the editing department and in cinematography of Krishna Kumar the shots are not crystal clear.
Stephen Prayog shows that he is good in classical mix melodies in two songs. The background score is not unique.
Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar creativity of a new subject that appeals to all is required as on today.
