New Delhi: Director Madhur Bhandarkar has tweeted a picture of Kareena Kapoor from the sets of his forthcoming film 'Heroine', which shows the actress smoking and holding drink in her hand.
As per the speculations, 'Heroine' is about a film star who rises to superstardom before becoming a victim to her own insecurity.
This is the first time Madhur Bhandarkar is collaborating with Kareena Kapoor on a project. Arjun Rampal is also playing an important role in the film.

Kareena Kapoor lately unveiled her grandfather Raj Kapoor's specially designed brass statue in Mumbai.

The popular Kapoor family of Bollywood was felicitated with tiles and two statues at the inauguration of 'Walk of the Stars'.

Madhur Bhandarkar and Kareena Kapoor are working together on a highly talked about Bollywood film 'Heroine'.

'Walk of the Stars' will feature hand imprints of Bollywood celebrities.

Bollywood stars will give their hand imprints in a clay cast, which will be processed in brass later and will be placed in their presence subsequently.

During the event Kareena said, "I am short of words, what more would I ask for. My father and my grandfather had made me who I am. Which girl has got this opportunity guys."

Tiles dedicated to Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Karisma and Kareena were also unveiled.

The event was held at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.

Aishwarya Rai was supposed to play the lead role in 'Heroine' initially, but she had to leave the film after her pregnancy reports got confirmed.
Bhandarkar has the reputation of being a very realistic filmmaker, and thus he wouldn't be leaving any stone unturned to make Kareena's character believable on the screen.
