Mumbai: At the first look release of Kareena Kapoor's upcoming film directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the actress had to field several questions that made reference to Vidya Balan's 'The Dirty Picture'.
Thanks to her item song in the film! Though she seemed fed up by the constant comparisons, she tried her best to be funny. At one point, she even said that she doesn’t have anyone else's shoes to fill, as she’s quite comfortable in her own.
Heard that, Vidya? Arjun Rampal who shares some intimate scenes with Bebo in the film was asked about his ‘experience’. Keeping up with the jest, he joked, "Whenever I’m in a bad mood, I close my eyes and go back to those few beautiful moments I had with Kareena. They are going to stay with me for the rest of my life!"
Making peace: While the industry is abuzz about the strained relations between Ekta Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor after Bebo refused to do her film, Ekta has taken the first step towards reconciliation. The promos of Bebo’s upcoming film will be seen with Ekta Kapoor’s comic caper being released today.
Ranbir Kapoor has the last laugh over Imran Khan
Looks like Ranbir Kapoor beat Imran Khan hands down for this one. Apparently, after RK booked the best five seats of a theatre in Wadala to watch Christopher Nolan’s latest release, Imran too called the box-office to request for the same seats. However, after much ado Imran had to back out and Ranbir had the last laugh. After all, finders are keepers!
There is no smoke without fire, Nargis Fakhri
Of late good friends Nargis Fakhri and Uday Chopra were spotted at a multiplex in Juhu on Tuesday. The starlet was heavily made up for a mere film outing with some elaborate eye make up. She also left with Uday in his car. Later Nargis stated on her micro-blogging site, "I’m just wondering if paparazzi can cause an epileptic 2 have a seizure when they sneak up on people & start snapping pics." But even a cursory look at the snapshots reveals that Nargis looks happy to be photographed! She furthed tweeted, "I’m totally not in 2 comic books but my friend just sent me his new stuff n umm I can’t put it down! Its awesome." This friend happens to be Uday again who has just launched comic books of his production house’s films. Uday loves reading comics, guess it is matter of time that Nargis will be hooked on to it as well.
