New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, who is busy promoting her upcoming film 'Heroine' these days, has an exciting surprise for all her admirers. This December Penguin Books India will bring to you the most anticipated style guide by Bollywood's highest paid actress Kareena Kapoor.
‘Style Diary of a Bollywood Diva’ is Kareena's ultimate, tell-all style bible. It is also the first time ever that a Bollywood top actress takes you in to her fabulous life in the book, and reveals all her beauty secrets.
The book combines style, fitness and beauty. Kareena writes about how she got to size zero and how to replicate her iconic looks from Pooh's sexy red choli and pants in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ and Geet's T-shirt-salwar in ‘Jab We Met’ to her uber-glam gowns in ‘Heroine’.
From being a chubby teenager accompanying her sister on shoots to the hottest leading lady on screen today, Kareena Kapoor has definitely come a long way.
Kareena, who will turn 31 later this month and had previously written a forward to her personal dietician Rujuta Diwakar's book. The book by Kareena is the first to be launched under the Shobha De imprint of Penguin that includes celebrity memoirs, guides and biographies with a focus on lifestyle, business, cinema and commercial fiction.
The initiative involves noted author Shobhaa De handpicking authors, titles and subjects. Following Kareena many other celebrities from the fashion, film and lifestyle world have been lined up for books under the imprint, according to a source in the publishing house.
