New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar and his deputies will be in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss the crisis within the party over party leader BS Yeddyurappa who has threatened to quit if his demands are not met.
Shettar and Karnataka Deputy CM R Ashok had met the Lingayat leader on Sunday on the party's orders. The BJP is reportedly trying to reach out to Yeddyurappa as he threatens to split the party, taking along his supporters with him as he exits.
Party sources said they were willing to accommodate Yeddyurappa as part of the BJP's grand exercise to put its house in order to accommodate regional satraps with an eye on the next elections.
