New Delhi: After a plea filed by the Restaurant Owners' Association in the Karnataka High Court, the state government on Tuesday told the court that it had notified new rules for employing women in places where liquor is served.
Karnataka government informed the High Court that women bar employees should be at least 21 years old. The government also said that women working in bars and restaurants should be clad in trousers and full sleeved shirts.

There will also be a bar on employing women, men or transgender for dancing or any other kind of 'exhibition', the government added.
