Thiruvananthapuram: A 15-year-old has been arrested in Alleppey for allegedly killing his classmate. The incident took place in the premises of the St George High School on Monday.
The boy is said to have confessed that he killed his classmate to avenge a petty clash that happened two months ago.
The body of Lejin Varghese (14), a student of St George High School in Muttar, was found with his throat slit at the school compound late on Monday night.
The arrested boy would be produced before the Juvenile Justice court in Alappuzha on Wednesday, the police said.
