New Delhi: It is a crucial day for former Kerala chief minister VS Achutanandan as the CPM's central leadership is meeting on Saturday to decide on his fate.
This, after immense pressure to act against Achutanandan comments against State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan and for visiting the house of slain CPM rebel TP Chandrasekharan.
Achutanandan had recently reiterated his stand on the issues in a letter to the party's General Secretary Prakash Karat and said the state party leaders were acting in vengeance.
Achuthanandan had openly said that he did not believe that Vijayan had the last word. He had also said that the CPM did not have a high command like the Congress and the Muslim League.
